A ruffled model that is, if there ever was one. Believe it or not, this is the same bird seen HERE – just a few seconds later as he flew to the other side of the road. Camera shy? Farthest thing from it. This bird is a Dickcissel by the way.
I’ve been thinking about some different types of paper to incorporate into my work. A quick experiment here. Not much to this picture, but the method & material & colors.. I think I like it. More of this to come.
I’ve been in New York doing some bakery work and I had a few minutes to spare plus 1 dull exacto blade leftover from days past and some shoddy construction paper. So here’s what’s come of it (along with a few other things below). Tomorrow I go back to my sharp exacto blades and better paper.
Sidenote: When simultaneously shipping lots of things AND planning to buy a car, use the money you might rather hand over to certain shipping companies and make a down payment on said car and drive the things yourself. Lesson learned.
