I came across the name Charley Harper, along with a thumbnail image of his work, while searching out some of Eyvind Earle’s work, and I instantly recognized an image that I remember seeing time and time again in “The Golden Book of Biology” when I was younger. Funny how these things pop up now and they’re of so much interest to you once again, but in a different way. Harper illustrated numerous books, magazines, etc., wildlife being the subject of much of it, with a modern style that is lovely and simple and geometrically elegant and puts a little smile on yer face..
