I’m almost finished adding color to this one. I can say that it’s certainly going to be something a little outlandish compared to my usual.. The color red will be prominent. I’m using this also as the cover for the summer edition of the Lantern Journal, a literary journal that I did the spring cover for. I’ll be doing the next two seasons as well.

I’ve got lots of new paper cuttings on the way. I’m basically eating, breathing, sleeping paper cuttings right now. It feels pretty good to not have my mind on anything else. I’ve scheduled all my other work-work (printing, consignment orders, etc) for the weekend, and it seems like my creativity, or rather creative energy, is up when my mind isn’t focusing on all the other things that need doing – usually my mind is on everything all at once. Enjoying it while I can. I’ve got five shows coming up in the next few weeks. Check the schedule to the right for details.
