I spent the first half of the day trekking the trails around Bear Lake and Nymph Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. Then I sat on a rock by a small but swift river and ate oranges while I dipped my toes in the water. I love the sound of moving water.

It felt good to finally give my camera a run today in Rocky Mountain National Park.. Or I should say, rather, to give myself an opportunity to look a little more closely at my surroundings. I haven’t gone out with my camera on any country roads or anywhere else for a long time, which is something I prefer to do often.
