“There is a privacy about it which no other season gives you ….. In spring, summer and fall people sort of have an open season on each other; only in the winter, in the country, can you have longer, quiet stretches when you can savor belonging to yourself.” -Ruth Stout, Kansas born author

Separating Wholeness From Reality

separatingwhole

This came from a dream I had about a month or two ago.. I can remember seeing a variation of this image (in the dream, origami paper was used and the image was oriented horizontally) and the words “separating wholeness from reality” sort of just floated though. So, I thought I should do myself the favor of making it since it came through seemingly for the purpose of doing so.

Hand cut paper. Both measure 16 x 16 inches.

These hang on my living room wall as a set. I did them awhile back trying to figure out a design solution, and they sat in a folder for a long time until I finally had some wall space to give them a proper home.

Owlets

These are a bunch of little owls I made over last spring and summer and sold at my summer shows. All measure approximately 2.5 x 4 inches.
