This Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, is the Lawrence Art Guild’s Holiday Art Fair. 10% of sales support the Art Guild and art in Lawrence! Hope to see you there!
ALSO: I hung a bunch of my work at the Lawrence Community Theatre in conjunction with their holiday production of the Sound of Music. Reception is Friday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 before their sold-out premiere.
The Grateful Dead was being played over the speakers at the post office today. Only in Lawrence, KS, perhaps..

Over a year after it was stolen in Baldwin City, KS, my fox paper cutting has found it’s way back home! It was purchased in a goodwill store by a friend of a friend and recognized as the original, and they contacted me knowing it had been stolen.. I’ll be picking it up this week. It all comes around..

“To let go is to release the images and emotions, the grudges and fears, the clingings and disappointments of the past that bind our spirit.” – Jack Kornfield

This year’s Bizarre Bazaar was held last Friday and Saturday. Many, many thanks to all of you who came out and supported. I had a great show! It’s always really great to see familiar faces and get to chat a bit. And I had great booth neighbors which is especially nice when you’re in close quarters like we were at this show. So, thank you again.
Lots of work to do in the coming days: I’ll be sending a bunch of greeting cards down to Texas for a holiday art show there, plus stocking up several vendors, prepping for the Lawrence Art Guild Holiday Art Show coming up next Saturday, and hanging my exhibit at the Lawrence Community Theatre.

‘One day,’ you said, ‘I watched the sunset forty-three times!’
And a little later you added:
‘You know, when one is that sad, one can get to love the sunset.’
‘Were you that sad, then, on the day of the forty-three sunsets?’
But the prince made no answer.
